Join artist Pam Oakes on November 11th for the opening reception of COLLAGES.

"Collage is a broadly defined medium that encourages exploration. My collages use my own artwork and purchased papers. These papers are primarily handmade in Asia and are endlessly intriguing to me. As a landscape designer I juxtaposed space, line, movement, color, pattern and texture to create comfortable and thriving habitats for both people and plants. The same design elements are still coming into play in my collages, but I'm now able to experiment freely and follow my intuition. The mysterious and subtle forms of nature continue to inspire me, and I find making collages as challenging and exciting as creating gardens."
