Pomeroy Anvil Deed Trousseau Dress 245 Bridge Street World War I uniform

Since the late nineteenth century, Historic Northampton has gathered a collection of 50,000 objects relating to the history of Northampton.  These artifacts include photographs and daguerreotypes, documents and manuscripts from the 17th century to the 20th century, fine art, furniture, ceramics, toys, tools and implements and an important collection of costumes and textiles. Together the collections represent the history of Northampton, and to some extent, the Connecticut River Valley, from the time of its earliest inhabitants, the Native Americans, to the present day. Selected collections are searchable online on Historic Northampton’s Digital Collections Catalog.
