Historic Northampton:Isaac Damon House, 1813
Isaac Damon, a regional builder of civic architecture, built this house for his family in 1813. Damon, whose Federal and Greek Revival structures dot the valley, developed an architectural style that came to characterize New England Village architecture. The photograph below dates from the 1860's.
