Northampton Architecture- Quadrant 1

Historic Northampton: Parsons House, c. 1730

This house was built on the original homelot of Joseph Parsons, laid out in 1654. The structure was built by Joseph's grandson, Nathaniel Parsons (1686-1738) about 1730. The original building was a single pile house - two floors, each one room deep. The photograph below dates from the 1880's.
