"What happens when you brush..."

It took a few years, but Pro-Brush eventually stopped including instructions with its advertisements. This is a testament to the acceptance of dental hygiene in the public sphere. No longer was it required to educate the people on the validity of their product, as the trust was gradually earned. Dentistry was not a suspicious enterprise, as it was in 1860 (verify this). Here, we see one of the last advertisements that included a detailed description of the toothbrushing process and what occurs during that process.
