Here we see an ad that attests to the international acclaim of both the toothbrush and Pro-Brush itself. While early advertisements attempted to make dentistry and toothbrushing luxurious and aristocratic, these later ads focused on making them seem exotic and foreign. The intent was to create the appearance of an international market, and then to convince the American public that overseas luxuries are available here.
